Like most of the technological adept world out there, I am a huge fan of the television. For me, it's the greatest invention ever made.

REVIEW – DOCTOR WHO – AFTERLIFE (MILD SPOILERS)

So I finally got around to listening to Afterlife. It’s been sitting on my desktop for about a month now. Recently, I uploaded it to my phone and spent the afternoon in the pool listening to it in blissful tranquility. The result: Funeral in the Swimming Pool!

REVIEW – REPUBLICA

Another ‘almost’ Doctor Who story, written again by Mark Gatiss. This is more along the lines of Gatiss’ usual stories: Hit and Miss.

NEWS: BIG FINISH IS GIVING MORE J&L

If you're like me (an audio aficionado), then you love the Investigators of Infernal Incidents. You love the proper pathologist and the theatrical thespian Jago and Litefoot. In that case, allow me the honor of informing you that Big Finish has just posted the Victorian London defenders have been renewed for a 9th and a 10th season.

As some of you know, Season 7 and 8 have yet to be released, which should just about prove how popular and good this series is with fans (myself included). These are scheduled to be released in 2015, so if you haven't had the chance to listen to them, check out Big Finish and start buying!

NEWS: NO NEW WHO BIG FINISH AUDIOS

Might have some premature bad news concerning New Who audios.

1000 VIEWS!

Thank you everyone for 1000 views. I really appreciate it. I really do. It's been fun and I'm looking forward to more. As ever, my dream is to reach 10 000 views (for now anyway).

Don't worry, I won't be bugging you every 200 or 500 views. Next time I congratulate you guys will be once we hit 5000 views. Sounds rough eh? 5000? I don't think so. We can make it. Thanks for sticking with me these 1000 views and remember to promote and expand this site wherever you are on whatever social media tool you're using. If we're going to get to 10 000, then we're going to need help so pass this message along on twitter or my space or whatever!

Cheers guys! See you in 4000 views!

Well, it's been a long wait! No Eighth Doctor in 2013, except for the magnificent Night of the Doctor which finally gave us Paul McGann's long awaited regeneration. Other than that - dry season!

RANDOM RANTS: DOCTOR WHO – WHEN SMART CHARACTERS GO STUPID

REVIEW – SHERLOCK - THE SIGN OF THREE

Last week, we had the Return, this week we had the Wedding. The Sign of Three continued the Series 3 trend of being distinctively different in both style and format. This is perhaps a callback to Steven Moffat’s decision to produce Series 7 of Doctor Who in a blockbuster of the week style. Whatever the case, The Sign of three was distinctive and certainly a treat to watch.
